VIII Spanish Bioinformatics Student Symposium - poster

The VIII Spanish Bioinformatics Student Symposium will take place online on October 18-19, 2021. The symposium is organised by the RSG-Spain, an association of junior scientists in Bioinformatics based in Spain and satellite group of the International Society for Computational Biology (ISCB).

If you are either already working on bioinformatics, or you are still a student wondering about your future, there is no best opportunity to gather together and seize the chance to recruit new members as well as meet students and professionals working on bioinformatics.

Like in previous editions, this Symposium will include a day for research communications presented by students, two special career advice talks by senior scientists
Laura Furlong (GRIB, IMIM-UPF) and Arcadi Navarro (ICREA, CSIC-UPF), and a talk about sex/gender bias in science and sex/gender perspective in science by Nataly Buslón (Bioinfo4Women). As a novelty, the previous day will consist of a Meet&Greet with different social activities.

The symposium is aimed at undergraduate students, MSc students, PhD students and postdocs working in the field of Bioinformatics in Spain.

You can check the program, register before the end of September and submit your abstract before September 3 here: https://www.rsg-spain.iscbsc.org/viii-symposium/
