JOB OFFER: BIOINFORMATICS Support Technician
The Bioinformatics Unit of the Centro Andaluz de Biologia del Desarrollo is looking for a support technician. The Bioinformatics unit provide bioinformatics services to the scientific groups of the Centre, bioinformatics data analysis, custom pipeline development, statistical consulting, etc. It also develop and maintain local server for common bioinformatics tools, and environments, and it is supported by The CABD Maria de Maeztu Unit of Excellence award for the 2022-2026 period.
Tasks:Maintenance and update of the data analysis pipelines for Microarrays, RNA-Seq, ATAC-Seq, scRNA-Seq, scATAC-Seq y multiomics. Maintenance of the Computer Resources and Servers.
Studies: Higher Degree in Computer Science of Biology related fields, with a bioinformatics profile.
Experience: Experience in Linux Administration, Development of bioinformatics pipelines and/or Servers will be a plus.
Knowledge:
- Programming languages: Scripting programming languages python, perl, bash, etc.
- Fluent in R
- Linux Administration
- Good English level (B2 preferred)
Benefits:
- Full time, 1 year contract
- Year gross salary: 25160 eur.
